About our team

Founded in 2000, Hamilton Microbots, Team 698, is Hamilton High School’s (Chandler, AZ) First Robotics Competition (FRC) team.

Annually, our student-run club builds a robot in two months to compete in a nationwide competition. We provide hands-on experiences for our students by teaching them about various CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and programming software, how to utilize professional building tools, and marketing strategies. Students in our club gain real-world experience they can use in any and all future careers.

  • "When I first started mentoring I remember helping a former Club president with awards. This was cool for me as a mentor because it led to 698's first robot award."

    - Ash Fletcher, 698 Mentor

  • "There's something for everyone on this team. I came in thinking I wanted to program and ended up working on the Business team."
